EFT would be great. Yet each time the Adsense division includes more countries for Western Union/EFT, South Africa is never on. The strange part is that the Western Union option is available for other African countries and some developing nations that in terms of infrastructure. Anyway, if I consider having to deal with ABSA in order to get a Western Union payment, I would rather pay the R190 and wait for a cheque payment.

It’s not that bad though. I simply use the envelope deposit at the ATM. The clearing is the problem and the dirty looks from bank teller. Thankful for ATM deposits. EFT would be great as my international clients can do it, why can’t Google?

Absa now offers Western Union and Adsense pays via Western Union in some countries. Even that would be better than a cheque. EFT would be ideal. Btw, if u cash it at absa, all u need is a stamp on the back of the cheque, fill in your contact details and deposit into your account. No forms to fill in.
