The only change I would make to the list is the order. I would place “adding content” at the top of the list. Overall, content is king when it come to getting favorable position in the search engines. It also needs to be on topic and key word rich content.

I realize that is a very rough guide, but Kelli Myers is right – SEO is vital part when it comes to making money from websites.

Majority of the traffic should be organic search traffic, as these people are the least adsense blind…

Search engine optimization should also be kept in mind since SEs bring in a lot of traffic which finally convert into revenue.
